Our Warranty Commitment

At Lumé we create lighting that is made to last. Each piece is crafted with care using high quality materials, precise construction and thoughtful design. To ensure full confidence in your purchase we offer clear and generous warranty terms across our collections.

Warranty Coverage

Five Year Warranty

Our five year warranty applies to all ceiling lamps, pendant lamps, wall lamps and table lamps, except for The Alabaster Collection and the portable and rechargeable lamps which you can read about below. This warranty covers manufacturing defects and material faults that occur under normal use.

Two Year Warranty for The Alabaster Collection

All products within the Alabaster Collection are covered by a two year warranty. This applies due to the natural characteristics of authentic alabaster and its handcrafted production.

One Year Warranty for portable and rechargeable lamps

For portable and rechargeable lamps we offer a one year warranty that covers manufacturing and material defects.

What the Warranty Covers

Your warranty protects your product against functional defects as well as material and manufacturing faults. If a covered issue occurs we will first attempt to repair the item. If repair is not possible we will replace it with a new or equivalent product.

What the Warranty Does Not Cover

The warranty does not cover:

• Consumable parts such as separate light sources
• Damage caused by accidents incorrect installation or improper use
• Normal wear or aesthetic changes that occur after delivery
• Damage caused by using the product in an unsuitable environment such as an indoor lamp used outdoors

Installation Requirements and Structural Responsibility

The warranty is valid only when the product has been installed correctly and in accordance with the provided instructions. We strongly recommend installation by a qualified professional to ensure safety and optimal performance.

Lumé cannot be held responsible for damage caused by incorrect installation improper handling or the use of non certified electricians.

The customer is responsible for ensuring that the ceiling or wall structure can safely support the weight of the lamp. Damage caused by insufficient structural support including situations where a ceiling collapses or the lamp falls due to inadequate mounting conditions is not covered by the warranty.

Any damage resulting from failure to follow installation guidelines or from unsuitable mounting environments is excluded from warranty coverage.

Your Consumer Rights

In addition to our warranty you are protected by a three year statutory claim period under Swedish consumer law. This applies to original faults present at the time of purchase.
